    I need new door struts for my QV5000S, where can I source door struts ? or locate a part number ? Thanks in advance.

    I bought mine from eurospares.co.uk . Don't try to change them by yourself, you will need a spotter.

    Do the replacement struts have black shafts? Usually the reproductions I have seen have chrome shafts

    I had mine rebuilt using the oem ends for $30 each. Try Nolan at LS Technologies. Email isn't his strong suit so calling gets an immediate response

    I have had great experiences buying struts from Frank at http://strutwise.tech/ He can rebuild your originals or sell you new struts, or even customize the strut pressures to give extra assist for door openings. I know that he has done the door struts on a local Countach.

    I just came across this in my files which may of use to some people. Its gives the Stabilus part numbers for many Lamborghini struts:
