The picture might be heavily edited but that GTO is definitely not grigio scuro, which is essentially a gray color and much lighter then any nero color. Based on editing she could be nero, nero daytona, nero setoso, nero stellato, etc.
I carefully watched the pic again, IMO grigio Scuro is definitely off the list. Agree with Stephen must be some nero + Picture editing
Looks like a manual transmission swap is occurring in Southern California. Pics from @cali.exotics on IG. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
It would be interesting to see how it changes the character of the car. I am not sure if it is like sticking a set of carbs on an efi engine just to get the sound.
Someone is brave...for sure the result will be interesting but I'll never dare to perform such a surgery on a 600k car
Wow that is crazy and incredible! I hope it works out well and the owner can post up how it's like to drive. Edit: Looks like the paddles are still attached to the steering rack. Will it be able to switch over to F1? I think there was a 575 that had a setup with both F1 paddles and actual gated shifter.

I wouldn't want this conversion to be honest the sheer way the V12 revs and the way the F1 superfast adds to the experience. Not sure this is an example of where manual is better.
I could be wrong, but it doesn't look like the platform for the shifter assembly is there... almost like someone took the center console out of the car and placed a shifter on the tunnel and snapped a photo.. Maybe a mock up prior to conversion? Interested to see how it works out! S
Yes it do look that way given how close the shiftknob is to the front dash. If it was elevated on that angled platform like in your photo, I don't think it would be that close.
I agree 100%. The gearbox makes up a big part of the thrilling experience the GTO delivers. Don't get me wrong … I have nothing against manuals but the adrenaline rush you get when redlining the GTO and upshifting followed by the "kick-in-the-but" is nothing short of spectacular. The semi sequential F1 box is just part of the DNA of this car. For sure I would never think of doing this to mine.
Thick spokes wheels, nero pastello (I think) roof instead of the traditional Grigio silverstone opaco, and some red paint I can't tell which one exactly
Where did you take (or get) this nice picture Olivier from Paris ?? Not in France for sure. It sounds like South-East Asia. Malaysia or Singapore ???
