Hello All, Does anybody know how much the black 1988 328 GTS sold for at the Pickles auction earlier tonight? I owned the car for 5 years, had most of the car rebuilt including the engine and sold it for $61k(!) at a significant loss a few years back after little interest at the very bottom of the market at the time. It went to its new owner in Adelaide, who then sold it on about a year or so later for a rather decent profit. It was then later listed for sale in Brisbane, then was listed more recently at gosford classic car museum, maranello motorsport and Lorbek before the Pickles Auction tonight. Just keen to follow its ‘progress’ as I’m sure someone got a bargain as it was a well sorted car when I sold it. Thanks in advance.
Pete maybe give them a call in the morning to find out.....I saw it and it looked like a nice car but I am in deep sh. it for buying an engine never mind another car. Hopefully it went to a good home.....
I have passed the final exam and can now do a back, crack and sack wax using products that can be found in the garage on a race weekend Hopefully I won’t chafe so much when I put the gimp suit on this year at PhillIp Island Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app

Ok, thanks very much. And thanks also Maranello550 for your advice. $150k is what I thought it would go for given how long it was for sale for at $180-$200k. It deserves to be driven so hopefully the new owner takes it out often.
Still advertised at lorbeks by the looks Is this it Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app View attachment 2505975
You have to ask yourself why Pickles don't post auction results......All of the auction houses I have dealt with both here and the UK are a bunch of deceitful Bas tards including the top ones.
Looks like prices are starting to really come off in the UK. This is my favourite colour in the 360 CS...... https://www.autoclassics.com/advert/31314
Good looking Ferrari,I don’t care how many 360’s they made an incredible car for the money ,entry level bottom of the list ugly boring[emoji849]..Try driving one , sheesh !! Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
I guess you mean this one,it's been there for quite a while, prior to the auction. https://www.carsales.com.au/dealer/details/Ferrari-328-1988/OAG-AD-15403346/?Cr=10
Don't start taking it to heart mate ................ or we may start to think you're not an Aussie I pulled up for a coffee at the Outpost cafe at Canungra yesterday, the first thing people said was "Nice Volkswagen" I laughed and said "I wondered what it was "
Yes, it's a 99% dishonest industry. I've "sold" a Ferrari through Pickles when there wasn't a single real bid - the auctioneer took bids "off the back wall" to run it up to the reserve. If you've ever wondered why they go so fast, it's so the audience can't keep up with where the bids are coming from. The top end Pebble Beach auctions are the only ones I've experienced (as a buyer and a seller) that are honest - too much risk of being sued.
Never JM all good banter ,it’s funny I went to pick up one of my lot from School the other day first time treat, half the kids started screaming Lamborghini !! I guess if it was red perhaps different reaction[emoji849]and ofcourse true bluish Aussie for 21 years this year, best plane ticket I ever bought [emoji12] Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
