Can you share some basic details of the car so we can understand why it fetched so much? Unless it’s a Challenge version then I honestly think someone highly overpaid.
Well that explains the high price then since 348s and some 355s are the last street legal Challenge cars. Anyone paying 150k for a "regular" 348 is high on something.
Sorry but I want a 348 like the next guy, but I can't imagine spending that much even for a Challenge...
The 348 is my least favorite mid-V8. 308/328 natural evolution. 348 was not an advance, IMO. 355 was. 360 was the moon shot to me.
That's what's great about the Tifosi. Everyone has a different opinion. In my opinion, the 348 is the most gorgeous car in the Ferrari lineup. The 355 is second in my opinion. And this just may be a world record (the highest use of the word "opinion" in the same thread).
Ive had my 360 for a year and today I brought it for inspection. The inspector said “I did not know they make cars this beautiful in 2004!” Its a joy to drive it, Im sure all ferraris are, but 360s will not grow old. Forget the radio, BT, sat nav, if you need those things, you need another car.
I have my 360 outside right now, and am just taking a break from detailing it. I'm, "The Ferrari Guy" to everyone in my neighborhood, and have been since I got the 456M six years ago, but this little yellow bomb turns heads like the 456 never did.
Yesterday I could have accepted $99k for it. Now I can take $120k. Spring is out, the price just went UP!
Well, just so you know, the person that bought it from me sold it less than a year later for a solid profit. So there you go. By the way, since I sold it it’s been featured on Petrolicious and has won major awards at events including cavallino. It is a really wonderful car.
I'm sure it's a wonderful car. And anyone can spend what they want on a car. Kudos to them. But I'm just saying I'm not buying a 348 for that kind of money...

looks like 2019 market get set in Kissimmee, a silver/black, some sticky interior, after market exhaust and a little dash bubble... I did not see mileage stated or shown. https://www.mecum.com/lots/FL0119-357526/2000-ferrari-modena-360/
Interesting car. I hope it gets some love. Clearly it is not being represented by folks who know these cars. "Caprizzio exhaust" ?? WTF Sticky steering wheel surround or sure looks like it. What is with the outside air to airbox duct? Image Unavailable, Please Login Still it will be nice to see a recent number.
Look a little deeper and this car is not going to represent the market except to show a floor. Check out the center console. Who played whack-o-mole with the side view mirror control buttons? How is that dash doing with the popping vents and the pulled area in the center on dash top? Image Unavailable, Please Login
While I do not dis agree with all the detailed nitpicks..... the market with $$ for this car may not be represented by this forum of experts...... my self included. the uneducated masses with $$ is the target market...... my prediction is a strong sale....... I'll bet you a diet coke. 12 oz
It’s on eBay and for sale here in the classifieds. 40+k miles and large scratch on passenger door. It is a well used driver with issues everywhere. Honestly, it looks like a fun, low stress car but I doubt it will fair well. It's sorta close to what I am looking for but the 80K asking just isn't happening and a Florida title with any car gives me general anxiety.
