    While not very scientific, I’m surprised how many have said they would order their Pista without a stripe. I’m not a stripe fan. You?

    Well, I'm certainly in the minority here. I don't get the while stripe thing. It always reminds me of cheap graphics on hot rods and muscle cars from the 70's. I wonder if anyone would even think about stripes if Ferrari didn't have them on reveal cars. I couldn't imagin a LaFerrari, Enzo or an F40 with them I guess to each their own.

    This. Most like it because of being introduced to us as the official spec.

    Usually I prefer stripe-less. IMO the stripe doesn't work in this car because of the complex front shape. Stripes work better IMO if they are flush, continuous, one piece. In the Pista, whatever stripe style looks busy.

    Ultimately, the goal in this car should be to visually soften the bulge/incline of the hood. For now, I think the style that better achieves this is no stripe at all.

    I'm not a stripe fan, but if I were I would choose the bottom option for certain.

    I loved the Speciale without stripes, so I'm going to go no stripes with the Pista also. In my humble opinion, a classic case of less is more. In being a bit more discreet without the stripes, one seems to feel even more fearful and in awe of its design and performance.

    I like rally stripes on some cars - saw a subtle gray stripe on a silver 612 once that blew my doors off (A 612!) - but I don't like it on the Pista due to the steep slope in the front air duct. So, for this car, no stripe an Gaillo Modena. The regular 488 looks great with one, ironically.

    Had a Speciale without stripe, loved it. Thought the stripe wouldn’t hold the test of time. I was wrong, I do want a stripe on this...

    The Niagara Falls bonnet, you mean? :D

    I quite agree, that's the main objection I have to the stripe. The stripe doesn't follow nor complement the front design of the car in its entirety, imho.
