Anybody know anything about this 355?

Not a problem at all if they offered a legit story. They listed it without even mentioning it at all at first. Someone might want to know it is not the original engine just for the sake of mileage for starters. So the car has 20k miles did the wrecking yard engine have 40k when installed?
At one point he said it was replaced under factory warranty which I can’t imagine any possible way that the truth.
Why did they go through the massive trouble of swapping to a 5.2? Were the original wiring and computers destroyed by flood? Was there really an engine swap or is the car a later model with 95 VIN plates swapped on? Etc etc. the whole thing is so odd there is a good chance something very very shady is going on with this car.

You know, it could be that the engine was replaced and the seller just doesn’t know what they are talking about re: 2.7 vs 5.2.

 

Not with a preface of, "why do you care?" This jackass was hoping to unload it on someone who doesn't know it had an engine swap! Now that someone has called him out on it, he lamely lists it.
What a jerk.

 

I say it had an engine fire.

 

Yup another possibility other than flood but if it burned all the ecms you would think the engine bay would have got toasted as well.
