    Definitely captured my thoughts and these additional pictures just show how great the 488 Pista looks. It will probably still be slower than a 720s but the Pista had already won in the aesthetics department and will surely win the emotional department too. Per the many reviews about the 720s, it's still behind the 488 GTB in terms of engine responsiveness and sound.

    So many beautiful, interesting, technically meaningful details, the whole concept makes sense, to look extremely beautiful and balanced, probably currently the best Ferrari. I've never experienced a Ferrari that convinced me so quickly.

    For me there is an additional point. I‘m not a big 488 fan, altough i‘m a Manzoni fan,
    the 488 didn‘t grow on me and i never thought that Manzoni and his team rock the 488 base this way!
    On the first leaked pics i didn‘t like the front carbon elements but the grown
    on me very fast and beside the side scoops which i will never love, the whole car is great!
    Forza Centro Stile! :D

    No, sorry. Yes, this car looks fantastic, Flavio Manzoni and his team did a great job, but the side air intake is a 308 GTB redesign (a 1975 car by Pininfarina designer Leonardo Fioravanti), as Flavio Manzoni himself clearly told when the 488 GTB was introduced. Not only: he owns a 208 GTB turbo from 1984 and he said he always wants to be inspider by that so pure line.

    Another photo request - can you try and turn the hazard flashers on and photograph the rear lights? I’m curious to see if the flashers are the same lights and color as the 488 GTB.

    It seems like the 812 had a completely different reception than the Pista. I heard cries over Pininfarina's departure all day long. "Ferrari's Stile centre sucks". And now everyone is loving the Pista and is applauding Ferrari Stilo. Weird....

    However I have to agree that the Pista is an absolute homerun in the looks department. I'm pretty sure McLaren management had a massive fall out with their design department. "You morons see you can have amazing Aero and Design"!
