Was quite a task to get on flat bed with the Novitec front splitters

Got it on and home and put on jack stands. Will be buying some Michelin Supersports for summer and saving these from whatever

Figured out how to put on jack stands. Not overly difficult but not quite as easy as a R8

PLEASE !! Do be very carefull ...

It is quite dangerous to have a car on 4 of these stands ... every garage man will tell you how often a car drops off with these small posts.

Far better is to use blocks of any substance that can not tip over ever ....

Bad luck ... a pothole ... and no rim damage ...

I wanted to start a thread about What Will You Do when you get a flat ! So I do not want to hijaack your thread ... Do you mind ? :)

    Chime in here ....

If this happens to you way ... way back on a tour ... What choices do you have ?

There are (sometimes) some options ...

I keep a tire plug kit in my car. Saved me from additional headaches twice and saved a friend in a 430 too!

However it won't help you with a blowout or rim damage such as the OP but its waaay better than waiting for a flatbed.

Plug kits good only for tread puncture as are the foam inflators but good only in a pinch
A cracked rim the foam may work for a short while if is small enough
Sidewall blowout- u are done- even cars with run flats can’t survive more than a mile or two before they fail completely

I keep a plug kit in my car as well. Haven’t needed it yet but as gqa said it can save you if just a nail in the tread.

The small posts are exactly the same diameter as the lifts. It has very large feet and I feel you’d need Superman strength to move the car off one of these

One question, if I may: Do you have the TPMS and, if so, did it work correctly and warned you in time?

    Kind regards,

    Nuno.
