Except the original car from the first series was a 308 GTS not a GTSi. So I very much doubt that is the original car.

 

Yea, and where are Rick’s and TC’s footprints? Because they never opened the door when they got in or out of the car.

 

They used all the different model variations except for the 328 and had a few beaters of each as well.

That is a 2Vi and as far as I know, the only 2Vi car that we know its present location is the Peterson one and that car is not it.

I'll swear I remember a show where Magnum had an accident in the car, and it was fiberglass. I remember being quite shocked as a kid seeing that as I didn't know they were made of fiberglass.

 

The episode was "Try To Remember" from the second season.

It was obviously a fake that was crunched up but either way Ferrari never made a glass GTS. They were all GTB

I remember that. Exterior shots went back and forth between a 308 and 328.

Wouldn’t be suprised if they drop the Ferrari completely from series. The new Hawaii Five-0 has nothing in common with the old series except the island of Hawaii..

They'll use whatever the producers procure in contract from the manufacturer offering the most money for a vehicle meeting the script's criteria. Most unlikely to be a Ferrari.

 

USA is the biggest market for Ferrari ,they would be crazy not to try put one in there.

 

Hope there will be a Portofino or a 488 Spider. The best would be a vintage 328 GTS

Does Ferrari need a sales boost? I thought that all the cars that it makes available are sold?

I would expect that if there is a manufacturer who wants to take advantage of "product placement" marketing, it would not be Ferrari or any other popular brand.

 

Certainly Ferrari doesn't "need" to. Hopefully the producers will use one and I just cannot imagine it being the least bit difficult to put one in the series without Ferrari's help. How hard is it for Hollywood to dig up a Ferrari?

 

It has to be an open car so my money is going on the Portofino.
