Here are large versions of the wide shots from Road Atlanta FCA meet from 1978. Its fun to zoom in and see all the different cars.
Also love the Smokey and the Bandit Trans Am complete with cb antenna.

If you want to really get good at identifying cars, the tan Oldsmobile Station Wagon with the fake wood sides towing the open trailer is Ernie Buetler's. He used it to tow his 375 Indy to the meet from Detroit.

Please don't tell me that the 308 is still not THE CAR! The 308 will always be THE CAR!

I love the apparently casual atmosphere and "park-to-just-any-open-spot" approach by all, including some vans and what-have-you-vehicles mixed in-between, proving they all are (or were at one time) considered as just cars.
    Thanks for posting.
P.S. Can you see in your originals if the hood vent inlays on that yellow Daytona are also painted black(?) like its "blood groove" ?

    Cool, thank you very much.
Sure looks like are they're painted black (or something darker).
I've often wondered if anyone had ever done something like that, but never seen it on a car or pictures before.
To me, like the different color "blood groove", this too would've been expected or fairly obvious "thing-to-do" in the '70s and early '80s.
