Of course I trust you! There's a Fuji 458 in Newport I may come check out but I've already come to grips with the fact that I'll be throwing down for the TL paint. Here's a local LAF in B Italia versus the Fuji car. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Fwiw I like B Fuji more than B Italia, I have seen both hues in the flesh, granted not side by side.. I really like the warm, pearlescent quality of B Fuji, and ever so slight ivory slant: quite possibly one of my favorite colors. xoxoxo
Don't get caught up in the principal of, "this paint is too expensive, I can buy a car with that money".. I went Rosso Fuoco and to this day I think it is the nicest color i've seen. So pick what you really like, not what others think you should like.
SOB! When I looked at the colors for my 458 the Bianco Italia was 18K and Fuji 28K. I guess Ferrari figured out how to stick it to us once again! Thanks for the update. Best and of course good luck! Randy
And this is why I prefer the Italia or Fuji, the layered paint ads depth to the lines etc. I would take either or over avus anyday.
Here are a few pics of my 458 in Bianco Italia. I didn't like the color as much, because I felt it didn't look as "clean". Brown specs throughout the paint color.
Well its official: After seeing the B Italia in person I felt it didn't have much of a pearl effect so I went with Bianco Fuji over Nero Interior for the 488 Spider. Stay Tuned....
I'm still in complete agreement with post #4 of this thread: Avus all the way. Solid, cleaner, brighter, colder shade of white, easier to repair and repaint. But that's a purely personal thing, the colder shade of white is usually my favorite (also in terms of home lighting) and I don't particularly like gloss as a general rule. Kind regards, Nuno.
I’m SOOO happy with Fuji. It looks unreal in the sunlight. The pearl effect is like nothing I’ve ever seen before. I went to a local concourse this summer and everyone was blown away. The same is true by everyone that has seen the car. “OMG what is that color?!?. It’s amazing” is the typical response. While I may not get the 30k back in resale, unless I get a Pista I’ll be keeping it for a while. If I am lucky my enough the get one, I think it will be Fuji with a TDF stripe. Is this true Ferrari still use oil based ? How do you find out , in particular RCM ? If I knew that I would have picked the best colour that was oil based.

When I was shopping for my 458, I wanted a white one. Local dealer had a Fuji. I liked it, but I just couldn't shake the feeling that it felt too soft on my eyes. I just couldn't understand why until the wife of a friend saw it and said it's a girls color. It kind of matched what I was feeling when I saw it, so from that point on I kept referring to the pearl white Fuji as a girls color. I think Fuji looks awesome, but I just picture it more on a Cali with a long haired blonde female driving it then I do on an aggressive sports car like a 458 or 488. I know that's probably not a popular opinion, but that's just how I feel about it. Ultimately I ended up with Avus. Avus is definitely a bit darker then some bright whites out there. It's not noticeable until you park it next to another white car. My girlfriend bought a white lexus SUV and when they are both in the garage the difference is night and day. The lexus is a much brighter, pure white.
