PPG 2.463.739 Blu Tahiti metallizzato (medium blue metallic) was one of the colors available on the standard color chart for the QV, but for some reason few people selected it, therefore it has indeed become considered rare & unusual, as you say.

GLA12927 will likely be the fittest it's been since new by the time the mechanical refurbishment is completed, these cars are like race-cars, they are maintenance-intensive and take not inconsiderable effort to set them up to optimum operating status, as somebody recently said to me - it's a labor of love

A quick check and I realize I have this one, Germany-registered EM-C 1535 = HLA12161, I should have checked my notes but that image threw me off and I thought it was another car for some reason, apparently a much-enjoyed example

Amongst all the colors I love, PPG 2.463.924 Blu Acapulco is a color I have always particularly admired on a Downdraft, from the time the cars were new to this day, in fact this particular car GLA12942 is the reason for those sentiments.

The reason I admire this color on this car is, I think this color is a sublime compliment to the character of this variant

That pic is from someone at Octane as of this morning, I don't think it hits the newsstands & retail outlets till the end of next week, and I have a feeling you guys in Europe will get this issue well before we see it here in the USA!
