Also I was not trying to compare him to Schumacher, just responding to someone who said the difference between Rosberg amg Hamilton was minimal

Hahaha....why are you guys so predictable? I could have bet a million that you would come up with the broken engine of Lewis like it is a proven fact that he would have won otherwise.
Ok you have already shown your short memory by ignoring Nico's share in bad luck the years before including some mysterious fluid in the steering column or no kers at all in the last double point race but you do not have to look back any further than the year before to see the same excuses why Seb won 4 titles: because they both sat in the best car!
Only you guys want to make us believe all the time that it is something completely different with Lewis...like he is the poor boy from the slums of London who paddled his way into F1 against all odds and racists (like Ron Dennis) in a soap box racer financed by his father brushing the school toilets with a tooth brush in his 12th job. Only to face the same odds when the evil Germans run a conspiracy against him to grenade his engine to make sure one of them gets the title when the biased marshals failed to prevent him from winning [emoji849]

Some forget Hero Worship is a useless and dangerous affair. LH had meager years at Mclaren and JB was more than able to compete with him and easily equal him. LH is a driver. Nothing else. A hero none of these people are.

And much more competition, and far less reliability Points were half what they are now. Plenty of mines were dropped into the rules to attempt to derail ferrari into the mix too. The Mercedes for four years has been head and shoulders above every other car, they’ve only lost when they made mistakes or hit each other, no other team has had a car so dominant with rules designed to keep them from being caught with no testing and barely allowing development without the risk of unreliability as a result of the lack of testing in real world situations. However you put it, elton is good, but no god, whereas schumi, Senna, even Alonso are able to drag results from poor cars. Elton on the other hand can’t make a bad car dance, and gets equalled by his teammates when he doesn’t have favouritism in his favour and the best car

I didn't make ANY comments about his engine failure before that post, feel free to check my past post. The only reason I mentioned about his engine to you is because you said his car was good. Some of you guys are so predictable, always saying it's his car. If you blame his success on the car why don't you blame his failures on the car?

Lewis Hamilton warns Daniel Ricciardo not to alienate Red Bull

LH should learn to eat his own words after alienating his own team during his loss to Nico. What -- team manager next Lewis?????????? LOL

Sitting alongside Hamilton in the press conference was fellow four-time World Champion Sebastian Vettel, who was asked if he could expose any of his rival's potential weaknesses.

"Well, there aren't many," Vettel stated.

    ...Classic!!

Yes, after 'alienating' his team after his engine failure in Malaysia.....
he took 4 on the bounce at the end of 2016, and took the '17 championship at a canter. He should 'alienate' them more often :D

I think you guys are in for a long season...best driver in likely the best car...going to do some damage.
And if not c'est la vie

Are you saying Hamilton was in a competitive car all of his F1 years? Surely he was not. But he won a race EVERY year he was in F1. Does that qualify as dragging a non competitive car to victory? Just say yes

Yes Toil he was, unless you consider "competitive" only when you have the best car in the field....the f60 was a dog and yet, Kimi won Spa with it, and would have probably won brazil if Webber hadn't rammed him...

You do realize that ktu's account pre-dates toil by nearly 2 years and he's been interested in US-based events in the South Central regional forums, right? Not everyone who likes Hamilton is toil - it's a rather lazy way to shut down opposing views to baselessly accuse people of being an alias of a banned account.

Furthermore, if you don't want to read someone's posts and regard them as mere BS, please make use of the ignore feature.

    All the best,
    Andrew.

How was he not? Mclaren from day one, then into a Mercedes....that Mercedes was competitive enough to score 3 wins, 1 for hamilton...

2009 the car was quick enough to regularly challenge for podiums.

Do you know that every car/team Senna drove for, both drivers had top 5 and sometimes podium finishes? So yes his cars was "competitive " as well

Point? and I'll remind you the only time a Toleman that Senna drove finished in the top 5, it was 2 laps down and almost everyone didn't finish. Hardly a competitive car

Senna did'nt win one race that year, but you say he won in uncompetitive cars. Again I'm not saying he better than Senna, just stating the facts that Hamilton was able to win a race every year even if his his team/car was'nt great
