Here are large versions of the wide shots from Road Atlanta FCA meet from 1978. Its fun to zoom in and see all the different cars. Also love the Smokey and the Bandit Trans Am complete with cb antenna. Image Unavailable, Please Login
If you want to really get good at identifying cars, the tan Oldsmobile Station Wagon with the fake wood sides towing the open trailer is Ernie Buetler's. He used it to tow his 375 Indy to the meet from Detroit.
Let me see what I can figure out. Maybe I can host them on my website. It really is worth seeing them larger, Ive spent hours studying them.
Here is a link to the full size pictures on my website. click the picture then hit the expand button and it should go full screen on your monitor. https://www.photojensen.com/78-fca keep in mind, if you click any other links with the word "girls" in the title they will be NSFW.
I love the apparently casual atmosphere and "park-to-just-any-open-spot" approach by all, including some vans and what-have-you-vehicles mixed in-between, proving they all are (or were at one time) considered as just cars. Thanks for posting. P.S. Can you see in your originals if the hood vent inlays on that yellow Daytona are also painted black(?) like its "blood groove" ?

Cool, thank you very much. Sure looks like are they're painted black (or something darker). I've often wondered if anyone had ever done something like that, but never seen it on a car or pictures before. To me, like the different color "blood groove", this too would've been expected or fairly obvious "thing-to-do" in the '70s and early '80s.
