Looking at a 2003 360 Modena to buy and curious about the front F badges on the top of the guards. This car has a sliver symbol on a black background instead of the usual red/yellow. Was this an original colour or are they some sort of ripoff badge?

They are aftermarket, stuck on, the ones that came on the car stock has a recess. Very common, my car has them. That particular one looks cheap and not on a 360...these are the ones on my car, not stock.

OK, thanks. I assume you can buy new ones from Ferrari or aftermarket ones that look better elsewhere?

My dealer sells the carbon fiber one with the silver stallion. It's not a sticker, but an actual piece to replace the original (yellow) one that sits in a recess as mentioned.

Is that the name for all of them, or the carbon fibre ones?

The car your looking at buying has the scuderia kit on it yes? Does he have the original bumpers?

Those after market shields on the car are wrong size and shape, and also in the incorrectly placed on the front guard. Lots of very high quality after markets available so not a big deal.

Yes, it is the one with the Scuderia front bar, and yes, it comes with the original thank god! Will be one of the first things to change to get it back to original.

Have actually bought it today after a pretty good PPI so pretty excited - my first F car. Now I just need to find some tyres to fit the original 18" rims for when I pick it up. Not getting the 19" ones on it currently.
Seems almost impossible to find the "factory" sizes, at least in the same brand/model etc.

Unfortunately the scuderia wheels were cheap knockoffs, originally gold and sprayed black. Pretty crap really. Thought I’d be better off with the originals, even though the tyres are original 2003 P Zeros and totall f***ed.
They’d only let me have my choice of one set of rims...

Better off with the originals then, Giallo is beautiful on the 360 , I'm a little biased.
