Hey Everyone, Since I own a 1977 308, I thought I would start a thread and see how many we have here. Post a pic and a chassis number. I'll go first: #22393, Red/black Funny how small the thing looks even next to a little Celica! Birdman
1977 308GTB #22127 Yellow/Black/Boxer Trim World's Fastest Art Car! 1977 308GTB #22641 Blue/Cream/Boxer Trim Ms. Speedy308 drives it, to chase me down! Catalytic convertors? We don't need no stinkin' catalytic convertors!
Jim, Just turned 45,000 miles the other day. I'm ashamed to admit that I have only put 2,000 miles on it in the year since I got it, but then again, I have been working on it a lot more than driving it. As you know, the car was a fixer upper and needed a lot of TLC. Speedy, How about some pics... C'mon you '77 owners, I know you're out there! Birdman
Speedy308 used his photo allotment long ago, and cannot post pics anymore. Saving the subscription fee money for the next belt service! You can search for "Ferrari Art Car" and see the yellow one in Dr. Tax's report on the 2004 Art Car Parade in Houston, Texas. And the blue one was posted in the GFD "Road Trip - Need Emergency contact info and phone numbers" thread, where I flew to Portland and bought the car and dropped in on Mario Andretti's Sonoma Winery for a few bottles! Maybe a kindly, subscribed Fchatter could transpose the photos to this thread........ I just chat now. PS Do not try to take your wine from San Francisco thru Yosemite! It does not work! Speedy"Quick, where's those Andretti wine glasses"308

While I was up in Montreal for GP weekend, I stumbled upon the Ferrari club meeting on Peel St. Out of all the 360, 355s, Testarossas etc that were their, my favorite car was a perfect silver 308 GTB. A truly timeless design.
