Hi all A friend and I are trying to spiff up a 330 GTC, and make it more correct in the process. It is an early - registered as a 1966 - USA spec car. It is serial number 88xx. So, to return it to original 'as delivered' spec, should it have sealed beam headlights or the European type with the removable bulb? Thanks in advance for any assistance. John
Question is easily answered: Car & Driver magazine July 1967, page 33. 330 GTC Road Test. Headlights are Carello. Also, Ferrari no longer was contracted to Marchal after 1965.
here are the ones we used on 8843 last yr - after much research - - Carello 03.490.700 square block letters, note the obvious lip on the edge of the glass
good info - that is dated late august of 66, cars before august of 66 - would or could be different...... as they state: presently manufactured....... any thoughts on this?
Any Ferrari made prior to 1966 - when USA enacted laws - actually first to be affected were 1968 models - would have been a Euro car except for the gauges - maybe.
John what did u decide to do on the bulbs? i need to get some for a gtc 10051 we are restoring was going to go the same route as we did with 8843. where did you buy yours from??
