I sold that car to the current owner way back when..wow does time fly. Crazy to think I what I paid for it and what it sold for back then, compared to what I am sure its worth now.
It was a great machine.

 

#028, i guess purple-beige interior is quite a rare spec.

 

Does anybody know all the locations on an SE30 that the production number is written or stamped?

I have found mine stamped into both door hinges, on a tiny plaque on the inside of the bonnet, and also written on a piece of tape on the floor under the carpet behind the seat. I read somewhere that all SE30's have this bit of tape with their number on it from when they were being built.

Is the 3 digit production number anywhere else on the car?

 

I had a small piece of blue tape with the number (SE 28) on it under the base of the side view mirrors, I forget if it was both or just one. Found it when the mirrors came off for paint.

 

As a general rule, and not specific to the Diablo, numbers were stamped/written on fitted parts and parts that were separated for painting or interior trim that had been made separately, as a means of tracking these components for a specific car.

 

All Diablos have VIN stamps on following parts:

1) trunk bonnet under the Lamborghini badge
2) on the door hinges
3) on the exhaust cover on the right fixing point next to the screw
4) engine bonnet
4) SE30 have the tape behind the seats with the SE number written down


At the moment this is all which i have in my memory.

 

Recently i purchased a very rare NOS SE30 gear knob.
It´s NLA from factory since years

What is the original Pirelli that came on the SE30’s? Is it the P Zero Rosso currently on the car (not available). Or is the P Zero asimmetrico correct? Also the front tire size is not available. Calls for 235/40/zr17 but available are 245/40/r17

The ROW SE30 came with the Pirelli tires you mentioned (235 fronts). I beleive that the Swiss cars came with Bridgestone brand because of the lower sound level. The P Zero for the SE 30 were available in Italy a few years back. PM me if you wish that I check.

Do you know where it is located in SA?

 

A little late - maybe years - but just for the record, I have owned a 1994 SE 30 for quite some time
It is red, beige interior, red piping and the original blue 3 points seat belts
It has a special exhaust, 4 pipes together, and a wonderful sound
I have the original exhaust
This car is something, raw with such a presence . Unique
14,000 km

 

Which number is yours and please post a couple pics for our enjoyment... I love the pictures

 

My purchase from yesterday:

1x set of racing seat belts with shoulder pads, NOS, one bag is still never opened, the other bag was just opened 2 weeks ago.
2x workshop parts manuals SE30, NOS, blue folders, so the period version which includes datas for all specs (EU,US,UK,JAPAN,SWITZERLAND,CANADA)
1x Pouch plus all manuals, service book of #135

If someone knows the current owner of #135, please help me to reach him to bring the original stuff back to the car.

It´s the only black SE30 Jota ever built. My last information is, it´s located in switzerland.
