    Hi all...Apologies if I'm posting this in the wrong subforum. I got a misdemeanor summons today in Stamford, CT for supposedly "reckless driving" in the middle of rush hour traffic. Glossing over the fact 5 mph in stop and go traffic lane isn't reckless and that the cop was cracking jokes about "daddy's car" since I'm 20 even though my 458 is my own and I purchased it myself...I'm now in need of suggestions of good lawyers. I've never been pulled over before and have a clean record but nonetheless want a pro since this isn't just a ticket and it's a criminal charge....

    Stamford cops...ugh. I’ve never had a nice interaction with any of them. Obnoxious and rude. If I hear of anyone I’ll pass it along. Good luck!

    Just avoid 95 like the plague. Not worth it in any respect.

    Don't have a "job" so to speak. I buy and sell watches as a hobby which just happens to generate more money then I know what to do with.

    In Connecticut the City and Town police departments have no jurisdiction on highways such as I-95 and the Merritt Parkway. Those roads are exclusively patrolled and enforced by the State Police.

    You say you are 20 but profile says born in 1990? Story sounds funny and not complete. That is a serious alleged violation for such a small thing as described. Something does not add up. I would suggest a criminal attorney that is familiar with Stamford traffic court. Good luck.

    We don't know if it was city or statie. Just Stamford. And 5mph in rush hour is sadly possible in many places on 95.
