    i followed the instructions on here to change the face on my tachometer from black to yellow today. It's all back together and it looks great, but I now have no working tachometer !

    The windows on the tach show the gear number and the outside temp. The car changes fine in auto.

    Any suggestions?

    Disconnect connector plugs, inspect closely and reseat completely may work.

    Fixed it. I'd pressed the tachometer needle too far onto the spindle. The needle was catching on the dial. Thought that I'd broken it!!!

    Same thing happened to me I pressed them in to hard. we do it nice because we do it twice lol.
