In the San Diego area 24 hours for the La Jolla Concours — what to see?

    I'm making a guerilla hit-and-run trip to La Jolla for the Concours on April 8th. I fly in Saturday morning and leave Sunday evening, and I have no real desire to do the typical San Diego tourist shtick. Instead I'd prefer to visit some car geek destinations.

    It's been a long time since I've been to La Jolla but I remember Symbolic. Dunno if they're still around.

    What else should I check out?

    Couple of elite car dealers in La Jolla near Pearl and LJ Blvd, and a couple in Pacific Beach.
    Actually, a web search should turn up quite a few in around downtown.

    Elite car dealers in PB? First I've heard -- please tell me more.

    In LJ;

    Ogara Coach, Ferrari SD, Grand Prix, and sports car company. The rest like Symbolic International are outside LJ.

    What you want to hit up is the "Secret Car Club" cars and coffee on Saturday morning in Rancho Santa Fe.
