In the meanwhile, on below drop box you can chose other templates - try the "darker" or old and see if it fits better.

Friendly suggestion from someone who ran forums for 20+ years. Like turning up the heat in the pot with the frog in it, I suggest making a list of the 20-40 changes that wish to be rolled out, and then changing one every two days or so. With the recent new forum software upgrade, some care was obviously put into it to minimize the changes in the look/feel of the forums - something that has been branded over the years. That was good! However, this new overnight "skin" seems to remove all of that branding and in my opinion makes this forum look sterile like a gmail intereface now.

I too thought I was on the wrong forum and went back twice to make sure Google didn't accidentally route me somewhere else?

Rob, I think Romano was complaining about something that happened to me also - when I entered the forum about 15min ago, the format was bizarrely changed - mostly white and with less icons and images.

After playing with the "styles" drop menu, suddenly the format went again to the normal one. This is why we were complaining. Maybe it was just a glitch.

Right now all appears to be good again!

...And yes, the "like" function is cool, even for us "non-milenials"

 

Yes, maybe the default "skin" for everyone changed accidentally today. It did for me! See this screenshot:

 

Yes, the skin changed. I just changed it back to "NEW" and it looks okay now. Rob, I would take a look at the default settings for people or something like that...

Ah ha! Thank you for posting this, I just did this and it changed the skin back to the way it looked a hour ago!

 

How do we change this back ?

No worries. I made that same error at least once in the past as well, and everyone thought I was the devil, and a whole bunch of Wayne voodoo dolls were crafted and pinned before I could fix it.

Rob, if it helps any, I now actually like the new forum software, even though I was a big complainer about it when it first changed.

I would not want to go back to the old system.

It appears that it is now impossible to include youtube videos.

Why?

Adding videos was a great feature in the prior software. VERY sad to it go.

Am I missing something?
