488 GTB stuck in New Jersey (port)

What does dealer say about this? They have no control?

 

Snow didnt help

 

I was told by my dealer this week that my car was “on the water “ so it should arrive to Florida in about 4 more weeks. So not unusual it would sit for 2 weeks or so. Best, Kirk.

 

Pretty common.. especially with the weather. Mine was quick, but my friend has had the same issue as you multiple times.

 

My 488 hit the NJ port during the snow storm in early January and my Chicago dealer had it in 6 days. It can be done quickly.

 

Congratulations on your new car! That's exciting!

Just remember, if Ferrari were like Porsche you wouldn't be getting a Ferrari.

 

My 488 GTB is due to arrive at NJ next week.

Really like the idea of gold rims especially with the wonderful looking deep rich red! Is that Rosso Mugello which tends to look more flat or something else?
Plane or boat makes a difference but sometimes they wait for a full truck before they leave New Jersey...

Based on hisorty. Once the car arrive in Nj, it takes 3-4 days in custom. based on your location, it’s should b at your dealer 4-5 days after. There is a black hole between ort ad dealer arrival

 

The car will arrive in NJ. and after customs. It 4 weeks to west coast and 3 weeks to southeast.

 

Good guess. Rosso Mugello and yes the gold will look great with this color.

I assume it comes on a truck from NJ.

Not a coincidence. Ferrari has delayed delivering cars as they hit or exceeded their guidance numbers for the quarter. If Ferrari was coming up short, you and everybody else would have your cars.

My bianco 2018 GTB arrived quite unexpectedly yesterday. I attended a dealer sponsored C&C and learned that a transport had delivered my car moments ago, I will post photos after the car has been cleaned and prepped. For the record, the car arrived 5.5 weeks after production had been completed. I am yet to receive the final production photo from myferrari (which imo is such a poor information support tool, it discredits the marque and should simply be shut down.

Btw, once the car hits port in NJ the dealer is invoiced and it’s recorded as a sale for public reporting purposes.
