Thank God I didn't bought the car new, so I didn't paid the ridiculous price for them :) One of the good things with them is that they don't have a paint, that can peel and they also complete the whole carbon look of the engine bay.

I have chosen car , because it reminds me a little bit of my Scud, which I still miss.

The car is on air suspension, so when the owner parks, they dump the car all the way down to the ground.

I mean no disrespect but I just can't understand why anyone would put a car of this class and stature on bags...Springs to lower perfectly fine. To each his own

I completely understand and it wasnt my intention to put on air ride suspension. However the car didnt have front lift and i wanted a decent size drop.So to prevent from scraping on a static drop in and out of driveways this was my best option. The air ride system is complete bolt on and can be reversed at anytime with a replacement strut and resevoir the car drivers and handles quite well. The car will be receiving a complete motec m182 standalone and a turbo system similar to what you see on the 488. Maybe around that time when i plan to hit the track or dragstrip i will switch to some JRZ coilovers.

The problem on my opinion is that one of the best sides of the 458 (or any Ferrari actually) is that you can just relax, drink coffee and look at its beautiful lines and enjoy it without even getting inside and driving it. And in this case it looks a little strange. :)

However, the good side of this is that they can't clamp you if you park on a forbidden place :D

Designwise alone, personally, I can't find one single angle of the 488 (any version) that surpasses the beauty, grace and flow of the 458.

    Kind regards,

    Nuno.

I guess it's all a matter of taste. For me the 488 is a much more beautiful car than the 458. Same as 308 vs 328, 348 vs 355 and 360 vs 430. The evolution of the design is always better than the original design. At least for me.

Wow, the 458 is so much more beautiful - clean and elegant, yet aggressive. My fav. Not a fan of the 488 look. Holding on to 458 spider forever, unless one of the next gen versions blow me away. I put design and engine sound ahead of performance. Hope they take some design features from La Ferrari for the next version like they borrowed from the Enzo for the 458.
