I cranked up my 2002 F360 after it sat all week and noticed the pressure gauge went straight to 70+ at start up. I don’t recall that ever happening before. Any input appreciated.

Oil gages tend to read high if the connection is poor and/or sender is failing - await repetition before worrying excessively

Pretty much all Ferraris have cold oil pressures around 70 psi, especially since the cold idle is much higher than the warm idle. As long as it comes down once warm, I would not worry about it.

Until my F355 past 60K miles, it would idle warm at 65 PSI, and would cold start at 75 PSI (on my gauge).

Those senders have a reputation for failing, I'm replacing mine for a second time and putting on one of the heat shields that @Ricambi America sells. That should help keep some of the heat off it so this one might last longer than a year or 2.

That's going to upset a lot of people. Most 355s I've seen warm idle around the 1st mark.

Mine knocks to the other end of the gauge when I first put the ignition on ,then when it cranks over it settles to normal pressure on my 360

My 97 would cold idle around 60psi...and warm idle was around the 1st mark as you state.
