ive seen 3 on the roads, my local dealer has one not for sale, when do these start hitting the market? Does Ferrari make owners sign something like the ford gt where they can’t sell for a certain time?

What kind of values are people seeing? $50k over MSRP?

I cant imagine that will last long, but I think dealers are learning from how the 488 was an epic flop. Ferrari dealers here in so fl have multiple 488s at $50k under sticker 2017s w/ 1k miles and less. The days of cars selling for over sticker for years is long gone

Keep in mind in the US there are very few 812’s on the road. People will pay over msrp to have the first one on the block!

Take it for what it's worth, but TMZ reports that Gucci Mane just paid $600,000 for a red one through Obi Okeke/Dr. Bugatti.

Wonder if the original owner is on Ferrari's naughty list for flipping it so fast.

That’s disappointing, the ghetto crowd usually sticks to lambos and rolls Royce and Bentley. I prefer Ferrari to stay classy

I was offered one a few weeks ago for $70k over, didn't want it, and it already sold.

Ferrari lost its classiness long ago. Kylie Jenner also has a Ferrari, as does Aubrey Graham. There are then the "collectors" like David Lee or Josh Cartu who dilute the brand. There are those embroiled in scandal like Robert Herjavec and Marco Muzzo. Gucci Mane isn't ghetto, but a rehabilitated African American.

Curious why David Lee dilutes the brand, i dont know anything about him other than he has an insane collection. Curious how a jeweler made so much as to have such an insane collection. Is there more to him that the average person doesn't know?

Honestly I love Ferrari, Im 32, I make a ton of money and I bought my childhood dream car the 575. I really can't see myself playing all of Ferraris games to get its other cars in the future. I take my car to get serviced with a guy who used to be shop foreman at the local ferrari dealer so i'll never pay the dealers insane prices and it just seems like Ferrari and their games might honestly hurt them in the long run bc most of my friends are 30-35 and the ones with exotics have huracans and aventadors and most of my friends laugh at me for liking Ferrari so much. I don't know always loved the brand ever since I was a kid but with all their nonsense to get cars, and the fact that performance is found in every brand today, they might be hurting themselves more than they think in the long run. I would never in my life buy a california or portofino to get on ferraris good side to have a shot at a future car, thanks but no thanks. Like the 812 I saw this weekend, its sold to an owner who doesn't want to drive it and leaves it at the dealer to show off for him? LOL ok, sounds like the type of owner the brand needs more of. I drive my 575 a few times a week, I didn't buy it to leave it at someone else's showroom, but sure give the 812 owner more new cars haha.

Well, I would say that Ferrari would hold its value better, but not servicing at its dealerships will scare off potential future fires. David Lee doesn't own his cars personally and uses them for promotion. He doesn't own all of the cars he seems to own. He tries to seem more successful than he is. Lee also has investments in real estate and restaurants. He also has rivalries with others and has Instagram friendships. That is just the tip of the iceberg.

o wow really? Damn I remember reading about how he was upset for not getting the aperta. So the F50/Enzo/etc its mostly not his? Interesting, did not know that at all. I follow him on IG and he seems to always be posting about his 275 being on display here or there recently, etc. Thanks for all the info, did not know these things. Ferrari are amazing cars but the games are just amazing man, a car like the 812, albeit special is still a car that will depreciate $200k+ fairly quickly, this isn't a one off car like the TDF. So playing all these games isn't something Im crazy about, Id love the car, but I also dont have to beg someone to take $500k from me. I told myself if I can't get an 812 by summer I would be getting an aventador sv, im not going to wait forever for Ferrari to allow me to get a car.

Right now there is a red/tan 812 Superfast for sale by a non-official dealer in Switzerland, with 500 kms at an asking price of Swiss Francs CHF 450'000.
And then there is another red/tan 812 Superfast, brand new, for sale by a private party in Switzerland, asking price Swiss Francs CHF 520'000.
    Both are advertised on www.autoscout24.ch

Marcel can those be brought to Miami? Im in Miami and would like one here. Or is it not feasible cost wise to do that? It's amazing you can find any car you want in Miami but I've been looking for a while and cannot find an 812

    Don't think so.
These are Swiss versions and can most probably NOT be imported to the U.S.
You will have to wait for a U.S. version somewhere in your country.

It would be far less complicated and expensive to simply pay up for a USA 812 than to bring one over.

The only thing I would note : while I love the F12tdf, and it is very special, they made 799 of them. I don't think that qualifies as a one off.
