looks to be ny plates on car.. please tell us what did you buy? mileage etc.. she looks like a beauty
Jerry, Very nice looking coupe, congrats. Coupes are much more popular in Europe and it can be hard to find a nice one in the US. But the search is half the fun: Took me 3 years to find the "right" 3.2 Cabriolet. Well done! Alden
Thanks guys. The car is not officially mine but we have an agreement. Just need to finalize the deal. Will post it all up once it’s mine.
Congratulations. Very Nice car. Mileage is not important. The more Miles the better the car Will be and drive.
did you buy it from a dealership? private sale? I was also looking at mondials ... wondering if that was one I saw online or not.. info please lol
Bocaf it was a private sale. Red with 41000 miles. Will give more details when the car is in my garage.
@ Boca; I think yes. Everything “matches”- state and mileage. “David” the final piece of the puzzle, it has to “fit”. Lol
Just an observation: that will make 3 t-coupes just in Atlanta (out of a total of 43 that came to the US in only one year >>> 1989)!!
Ok guys I was going to wait because it just doesn’t feel like mine till it’s in my garage. But it actually is mine now and on a truck, hopefully safe. So I’ll Expand... Yes I bought it from David. A really good guy. The car just completed an over $12000 engine out service and clutch the same day I went to look at it last week. It was done by an exceptional and highly experienced Ferrari mechanic who was so friendly and informative. He showed me everything he did and also said that any time something needed to be done David had it done and expected perfection in his cars. The car is pretty much perfect from what I could see. Seats and bolsters like new, only flaw that I noticed was the black trim around the windows was fading or in some places on windshield coming off. The car drove great and the brakes are unbelievable that’s saying a lot coming from a Porsche background. I had the shop do a compression check and all cylinders were around 180-185 with I think one or 2 at 178. I will give it my usual psycho 3 day detail with q tips and a tooth brush and make it like new. I paid $62 for the car. The mechanic said with all that was just done I shouldn’t have to do anything other than oil and brake fluid for the next 3-5 years. I think it was worth the price I paid and I’m glad David worked with me.
I’m not going to do much to the car once I get it but will be looking into some nice metal pedals and a tubi exhaust. I will have lots of questions in the future probably. There is a Ferrari show in Dallas on the 28th so I’m excited to go in my very own Ferrari.
Congratulations, beautiful car! If I may ask, which transport company did you use? I need to transport a '85 QV Cab from TX to PA asap now that we finally seem to be in the clear as far as the weather goes. Rough winter in the northeast...
