Hey, is this a Stanley Cup final or a Middle Earth production? :D The build-up is an epic show.

    All the best,
    Andrew.

It was pretty exciting. Goals left right and center. :)

    All the best,

The goalkeeping in this series has been okay but certainly not stellar.

Fleury has not looked as good as he has in the past but some of that is a break down in defense. I can't wait for tomorrow night!

    GO VGK!

Agree but on both sides the defense has not been as sharp either. The teams learn each other as the series goes on.

Hoping for better tonight! Not sure if they are out of steam or Washington is that much better than the West squads but this hasn't looked like Vegas team from previous series. Need a lot more production out of the first line tonight

Yes, they need more out of line 1, 2 and 3. The fourth line can't carry the team.

    Go VGK!

Tonight is game night! Go Knights. I see some on here are Kings fans...Well our suite that we are in 99% of the time is right next to the suite the opposing teams gets (owners, execs, injured players, and wives/family...Everyone thought the Kings would be the worse team to sit next to. But they were al pretty darn polite and good spirited. The worse team to have next to our suite was San Jose..They were some pretty big cry babies and one of the brass was a ****** bag. Not everyone can be professional I guess. hahaha. Im excited for tonights game, even though we were not allowed to get tickets to the DC game. I do hope it goes to game 7 so we have a chance to win here at home..

I love the Knights and will support them through ups and downs but I just wish they would finish out this season, win or lose, with class. They didn't show that last Knight.

    Go Knights!

Given the buildup the Knights have had this season, I believe the Vegas line had them sweeping the series.

I'm a Caps fan and we have gotten close to winning the Stanley Cup but never quite there. The Washington franchise started in 1974......so it has been a long time coming. Ted Leonsis deserves the credit for building a great team that has energized the city. I like the way the Caps play as a team on offense (assists) and defense.

I expected the Knights to be a serious force on Monday night but the Caps played harder for the win. Credit to both teams....great hockey to watch.

It takes 4 victories. It's still a three game series with two at home.

Except Vegas have to win all of those games, while the Capitals only have to win one. Can't really spin that as a "three game series".

    All the best,
    Andrew.

Others have won three in a row. The Caps did it.

Yes, the pressure is on. Let's see who responds best to it.

I would love to go down there but it's too hot for me. I will watch it in the air-conditioned comfort of my house.

Agreed, I have to keep saying that to try and deal with my emotions about the last game. Admittedly I left home and came back to work during the second intermission because I was so upset - I cranked out some demands and pleadings in anger until about 10pm. I was surprised that I was so emotionally invested in it.

Same here but I'm doing it from much further away in WI! Game 4 put me in a sour mood the rest of the night. Hoping for Game 5 magic!!

Same here. I keep having to temper my emotions. They are/were an expansion team that steamrolled through the regular season and first three rounds of the playoffs. It's just incredible.

It a BLAST to watch these games. We are really enjoying them and I can't believe how good the VGKs are. The Caps are no joke though.

It has been a long time coming for the Capitals......44 years. I thought both teams played with great skill and passion tonight. Congrats to the Knights for having a tremendous first season.

The party is still going on in DC. We haven't had a Championship team since the Redskins won the Superbowl in 1992. This is our first Stanley Cup.

Congrats to the Washington Capitals, Ted Leonsis and the Fans.
