They appear to excel at feeding the frenzy (i.e. supply vs fabricated demand).

However, every ad I've seen of theirs, they presented the car truthfully, whether it was a "barn find", a "burner" or just another clunker. Diamonds in the rough, as they say. ;)

    In my opinion only ....

Living in Southern California I've visited a couple times and have friends who have done the same.

I can only caution you in the most serious manner possible to not enter into a transaction without putting your own hands on it or those of someone you trust entirely. Give a through inspection to the level of having proper fluids present, correct serial numbers, parts, accessories, etc,.

Several folks I know have done fine when something of narrow interest came available and they inspected, examined and probed carefully before making a deal.

Spoke to them a few years ago about a 308 they had. Asked a questions about why top end of the engine had been removed and who put it back together? Was immediately told “don’t buy the car” and hung up on.

    I don't see a '77 on their site so I can't help.

The TV show "Wheeler Dealers" bought a car from them last year (or maybe the year before). They showed the BHCC warehouse and introduced the owner (Alex). They bought a fairly rough, but running/driving MG.

You can get a good idea of the type of cars they sell by watching what Ed had to do to bring the car back up to par.

    It's worth a watch
