That was 5 years ago. Today, the website lists 503 cars. Do you know of any Quattroporte Tipo 107 which are not listed yet? Thank you for every contribution: www.tipo107.com

Thank you! I've update the site yesterday, after a long pause. Hope I'll be able to update more often again – which means, I need to hear from everybody who knows about Quattroportes as yet unknown.

This is the Mille Ruote car: http://tipo107.com/Maserati107/107.2000-2250/Seiten/2152.html
A company called Ruote da Sogno spent a lot of time and money to get in this condition. They paid 61100 EUR at the Milleruote auction in 2016. Now add commission, transport, work, parts, advertising costs etc... (20 000? 30 000?) and end up with the highest bid on Catawiki of 50 000 (the other bids are "in house", as the car is still for sale by them : https://www.ruotedasogno.com/en_gb/cars/maserati/1967-maserati-quattroporte.html

Another example of too much optimism regarding Quattroporte prices. There are some other Quattroporte 107 around waiting for buyers. Some of them for years, changing from dealer to dealer.

    Now 533 Quattroporte Tipo 107are listed on www.tipo107.com !

I started in 2012 with 366 cars. If you know of any Quattroporte not listed, please send me a PM, I will list it.

Some statistics: Of the 533 cars listed, 290 are still around, of which 142 roadworthy (in different conditions). This shows an overall survival rate of 38% (18% of produced cars are listed as roadworthy).
We have 70 existing cars of the 1st series listed (chassis numbers 001-520), of which 28 are in working order. (Overall survival rate of series 1 cars is 27%).
Series 2 (1000-1500): 123 existing cars listed (49%), of which 66 in working order.
Series 2 1/2 (2000-2500): 97 existing cars listed (38%), of which 48, or about the half, in working order.
It's clear that the survival rate of series 1 cars is only about half of the later cars, and I expect to see more series 2 1/2 cars still to be discovered. Why? Series 1 cars were just old, cheap bangers, when they were 5 or 6 years old (in early 70ies), so to scrap them was not a big deal. In 1976, the first de laRive/Crump book came out, proofing that exponentially more people were starting to have an interest in old Maseratis than even 7 years earlier. Hence a 5 or 7 year old series 2 1/2 was already a collector's car – not really an old banger anymore. Most of these were still in good nick, and they were also cherished more after their usual lifespan of 3 to 5 years than the earlier cars. Cars which were still around in 1976 had therefore a much higher probability to be saved.

Last year I went to inspect this car in Spain, for some reason even though almost everything is there, as good as a project gets, my client --a shy one- did not take it, pity. It is AM107-336 sold new to Barcelona. It would be nice to see it find a good home and come back to life, it is a manual with AC. A lot of the parts are in the trunk, engine is out of the car but turns easily by hand.

    Best regards,

    Marc

PS: The car shown in your files is NOT 336.
I have bought several cars from its current owner in the last few years while several others have clumsily antagonized him. He is a very good man. No further discussion of him here.

Congratulations on your QPI Registry, I have about 340 Khamsins in my MKR but I am swamped with work so the date when I will have time to put them online is probably 2118...yes.
however I supply data on a car when asked.

Hi Marc, thank you very much for this contribution. I wasn't sure about 336 in my registry, but everything seemed to fit (year, Barcelona) etc. Considering there were only 17 of them sold in Spain, of which I've registered already a few, my chance was about 1:5 the car shown under 336 in the registry would be 336... So, one more mystery solved, one more to be solved! I hope the "real" 336 will find a good home soon.

Latest Update. Now listing 573 cars.

(as the webbuilding software by Apple which I use has no support since ca 2010 (and I can't transfer it to another platform), it might not be possible to view it on any browser. It works quite well with Opera and Chrome, not well with Safari. Use a VPN.)

    UPDATE OCTOBER
Now information on 600+ cars (among them the last of all 5 fire engines). New statistics! Ever wondered which country imported most of the Tipo 107 Quattroporte? It's quite small... Have a look under the header Production on tipo107.com
New info on actual production figures, colours and more.
NEW: Market report, listing prices of 37 cars for sale (and their price history since they were first offered for sale) as well as the sales prices of 7 recently sold cars (yes, it's a buyers' market!). Enjoy.

    Congrats for your site.
Your exhaustive market report shows that the market is very dire for the QP right now.
    Very infortunate.
    Time for buyers...

Very interesting, I just read on your site about two cars that were delivered new in the Netherlands, #2090 and #126. So #2090 is in Belgium now, and #126 in Germany, I didn’t know that.

Another car that was delivered new in the Netherlands (April 7, 1967) is on the photo below, it was at Interclassics Maastricht in January 2020, and still is in the Netherlands: https://www.autojunk.nl/2020/07/maserati-quattroporte-4000

I couldn’t find it on your site, do you know which chassis it is?
It may have been white when it left the factory.
