This is the fulfillment of a promise I made to my 13 year-old self. It took me 30 years, but was well worth the wait! -2007 with 13,000 miles -HGTC Package -Grigio Silverstone -Cuoio Daytona Seats -Diamond Stitch Headliner -Yellow Rev Counter -Scuderia Shields -20 inch Challenge wheels. Exactly how I would have ordered it had I been the original owner. I bought it sight unseen (with PPI of course) having never driven a 612 or even heard one start up. I just assumed I would love it. My expectations have been wildly surpassed. I cannot understand how the 612 went down in history as the ugly Ferrari that no one wanted to buy. I've seen some awkward angles in photographs, but I think it is absolutely gorgeous in the flesh. It seems to me a design that has aged well and will continue to do so. While I have already met two other Ferrari owners in town, I am, as far as I know, the sole member of the Spokane 612 Scaglietti Club. If I am wrong about that, please send me a PM. I would love to connect with other Ferrari owners in the Eastern Washington/ Northern Idaho area. Hi Chris I was 42 when I bought my 1st Ferrari, my 550. Grigio Silverstone with Cuojo is a gorgeous color combo, I have the same at my 599. Enjoy the beauty. Daniel
Congratulations for fulfilling the dream. Your 612 is beautiful. I've loved the 612 since its launch, and it was my decision to buy it over a 599 (would love to have the F140 engine though). I consider it more beautiful and I love possibility to share the experience with the family (wife and two kids). But I agree that seeing it in the metal has a much higher impact than seeing in in pictures. Most pictures don't do it justice - a bit like with today's 812. In my opinion it has a timeless design, with a great balance between classic and sportiness. Enjoy it in good health!!
Congratulations on finding everything you wanted! Hope to join the prancing horse club soon too! Cheers Sent from my BBA100-1 using FerrariChat.com mobile app
That is exceedingly rare. I've been through a bunch purchased at the low point in depreciation and each of them were compromises in some way, except maybe the 599 perhaps, come to think of it. She was pretty perfect. Anyway, it's really a stroke of luck to find the perfect car at the perfect time. Congrats.
Great car Chris, congrats!!! The 612 will keep surprising you, it is a playful car without being dangerous, weight distribution is helping this Many underestimate it, think its bulky, heavy and not agile ... The perfect GT to me, way more sportive than its allure may suggest I wish you lucky years with it Michel
Congrats Chris! She’s a beauty! Wish you many years of enjoyment. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat

Thanks Dave. The previous owner had the interior destickified with you in April of last year. It looks like new. Amazing job.
Yes. I’ve never met him, but he very kindly responded to an email I sent him. It certainly seems like he took really good care of it. It’s in great shape.
Jes is a first class guy. He was very patient and allowed us to do the job properly. He invested quite a bit into that interior. Enjoy.
I've seen Jes's car in person at an FCA event in the LA area. Beautiful car and well taken care of. You got a good one.
Congrats, she is stunning...love the color combo...and that rear profile is tough (in a good way), love it! Welcome to Ferrari land, another dream come true!!!! Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Only 3 months into ownership and I had a low engine oil pressure warning light come on. It only came on below 3000 RPM or so whether at idle or just in a higher gear while at lower speeds. Oil level and temperature were fine. Living in Spokane I bought the car fully expecting to ship it to Ron Tonkin in Portland for service (I'm marginally closer to Seattle, but from Portland originally and still have family there). I was pleasantly surprised to learn that the Maserati and Alfa Romeo Dealership in Couer d'Alene, Idaho has a service technician named Jason who previously spent several years at Ferrari of Las Vegas and Ferrari of San Diego. He was able to diagnose a faulty oil pressure sensor and get me back on the road in no time. Not that stories of malfunctioning oil pressure sensors are interesting, but just an FYI to anyone in the Eastern Washington/Northern Idaho area that we have a resource for local service.
