    Hi Steve,

I am just about to post my fresh rotisserie restored 1960 Mercedes-Benz 190SL for sale. Anthracite gray metallic over burgundy red leather with three piece matching luggage. Restoration by Mark Passarelli. The car is absolutely gorgeous. Currently at Mark's shop alongside all of its big brother Gullwings.
We are awaiting a professional photo shoot soon. We've not advertised anywhere yet. Here is a quick cellphone photo.

John (720) 480-1415 [email protected] or Mark could answer any questions privately.

Beautiful car John and well done Pass!

John, what is your impression of this car from a driving perspective. Their reputation is not very good.

Quite to the contrary. John has a fantastic example.

Gary Beaupre restored a 280 SE cabriolet for my dad a few years ago. I remember stopping by his shop and seeing a very nice 190. He told me it drove like a truck, only worse! Have heard the same from others. Granted the 100 is not a modern car, so trying to find out they are a reasonable drivers cars.

Madera did the wood on my 3.5 Coupe. Came out fantastic. Sure, it's expensive but worth it to get it done right. And, I actually thought it was fairly reasonable, as things go for vintage Mercedes...

    Texas!
That's nice. For some reason, to me the original wood on these old Mercedes looks cheap. Kinda like wood with shellac on it. I guess maybe I've never seen the real thing new.
