    Last year, I got a best personal time of 2:17 (I know slow) - but fun nonetheless.

    My goal was always to beat Jeremy Clarkson's 2:00ish time in a 2002 Honda NSX, by getting a sub 2:00 minute time. Clarkson has a penchant for dogging the Mondial, so I figure if I can beat his time in a 'gt' 4 seat car three updates behind of it, not to mention I was on street tires vs. slicks - that would be a satisfying personal accomplishment.



    Didn't happen this year, but at least I'm heading there - improved 3 seconds to 2:14. I'm by no means have the same track experience as Clarkson, but I can tell you talking to the pros there that if a noob like me can hit 2:14 - a somewhat experienced driver can easily break the 2 min in the 't'.



    What's that about the Mondial being a TR's food?

    Curious, what tires did you have and what pressures were they set at? Brake pads?

    Good tires would certainly be worth some time. So would a more aggressive right foot! ;)

    I was also hanging out with Michael. My first time at speed with the Scuderia at Laguna Seca. Was hoping to be in the 1:3x’s. Only managed a 1:42 due to traffic.

    Thanks! The Scuderia doesn't pass sound at Laguna Seca for most track days. Prior to this event I never completed a session due to sound. I was flighting what seemed to be bump steer especially through turn 9. Saw later that my calipers were machining my new custom rims under heavy g-forces...

    Can't wait for next year!
