    Newly issued V5's,registration documents no longer show the previous keeper.
    This is surely going to lead to various frauds and scams , were ex hire cars, driving school cars etc can now be "lost" even easier.

    Undoubtedly a "data protection" issue. Will certainly limit basic checks that we do.

    Unless off course you are a gypo with a car park, in which case for £2.50 you can get all the information you want from DVLA.
