The only thing I can suggest is the old saying that: to finish first, first you must finish. RoGro doesn't seem to understand that...and strangely, Stroll might not understand it, but he does somehow DO it...the finish part... not first.
Grosjean is running away with this contest. It's too bad because he does have more talent than the others on the list. But, silly mistakes easily overshadow said talent, don't they?
I think my gran could finish the race if she went as slowly as stroll.. it’s hard to stress any mechanical parts if you run at 60% all the race, I’m surprised he doesn’t use one engine per three years, not three every year, there must be no wear on them at all!
You can’t hit much if you aren’t travelling too fast either, even a dullard like Lance has time to take avoiding action. He only had max hit him when he pressed pause on his PS4 controller rather than x to accelerate- any kid can do that. Elton hit the pit lane limiter in Brazil that time..... dopes do it all the time hehehehe
Overall Grosjean is probably the better driver than Stroll. That said, what he did in Baku and Barcelona is beyond comprehension. Stroll might not be a super talent, but at least he hasn't caused these kinds of accidents.
Romain could drive rings around the stroller in the same car..he's dumb but he can be very fast...the Stroller is dumb...and slow!
It’s a wonder gro wasn’t banned for blowing smoke rings in the new pc paddock environment..... smoking is soooo bad for our health we must be saved from our own stupidity........mmmmmmm, Marlboro......... I feel like a cowboy every time I light up
Well... Stroll did collide into Vettel last year after the race on the cool down lap... so there's that.
Hamilton is the WOAT, worst of all times.. He is the last reason why I would want to see a GP. Even the far more destructive Verstappen idiot is better. Hamilton is to neglect really.
Can I have some of what Hass is smoking?? http://www.espn.co.uk/f1/story/_/id/23538576/haas-boss-guenther-steiner-backs-romain-grosjean-recover-tough-spell
Ahhh, must be very very good stuff to be seeing grosjean in a positive light (unless you supply carbon fibre to the Haas team, where it’s bonus time every GP weekend)
Yes, worst . . . . especially when you're one of his competitors and you have had to see him ascend to that top spot of the podium the last two races.
Grosjean is like Kvyat and Maldonado, fast sometimes, but pretty erratic. Too many mistakes from the veteran Frenchman. Stroll is punching above his weight in F1, but not served by the best car either. The bubble should burst soon. Sirotkin, too early to say, but I don't think he will last in F1 Neither Stroll, not Sirotkin have shown the skill or talent to develop their car, and they careers is linked with Williams decline. . Ericsson is a lacklustre journeyman who owes his survival in F1 to his backers. Hartley is a bit of a disappointment at Toro Rosso. The WEC champion is no F1 material, IMO, clearly .slower than his less-experienced team mate Gasly.
Or whining his way around whenever the car isn’t up to the job, which is great to see, and about time Mercedes were caught. Just a shame the FIA allowed Pirelli to lock in the fix with the tyres to save their asses this year. Elton in the same car as everyone else wouldn’t be a champ, he’ll be one of the chasers, he only wins with a car advantage, not like a great champion like a Senna or a schumi, who could make the second, sometimes third, best car win races and titles. Unless he manages to do something like that sometime, he’ll always be just a quick driver in the right car for many knowledgeable people. This is the guy that has to have the team tell him what buttons to press on his own steering wheel when there’s an issue, and that needs constant validation when he’s driving to keep him going - what a prick
Coca-Cola is the beverage most liked in the world, therefore it's the best? It's probably the worst, after Red Bull In my opinion Hamilton is a very boring driver, a completely uninterestig person who would be midfield if he'd drive the Ferrari F1 and surely if he'd drive the Red Bull. He can only win if his car is far superior. His behavior on and off the track is just childish. He is the anti-sport in person.
Ericsson, although since he lost some kilo's over the winter he has perked up a lil bit. However rookie Leclerc is already showing how useless he is,and no way would be in an F1 car without Tetra Pac family money.
Thank you for stating straight off that this is your opinion. Some people write as if their word is fact when the records indicate otherwise.
I'm a big Schumacher fan but he also struggled when the car wasn't working. Look at his early years at Ferrari and Mercedes. Hamilton might be boring to some, and his life style may driver others crazy, but his numbers are the proof in the pudding. He is an excellent driver.
Schumacher made his benneton and ferrari cars that were nowhere near the standard of the class cars of the field do things that no other driver could ever dream of. I don’t know where you get your facts from. The Benetton was second best, car wise, to the Williams yet schumi grabbed two titles with it, and the early ferraris he drove, despite them being worse than most, he dragged them around for victories and title attempts. The Mercedes was always a development car, nothing more, a car he was helping develop from absolute crap into a world beater, and his name bringing investment support and recognition to the project along the way. When that car had any potential, he found it (pole in Monaco for one). Don’t denigrate the greatest driver there ever has been or ever will to try to ******** about some **** that can’t drive around a single issue and ONLY wins in a car that is a second a lap quicker than everything else in the field, elton is barely more impressive than Damon Hill or jenson button, who have done exactly the same with a dominating car, save their cars dominated for shorter (and in Damon’s case, he had schumi outdriving the potential of the Benetton to teach him manners).
If you want to see how poor of a driver Hambone is just replay last years Mexican GP. Both Seb and Hambone went to the back of the pack on the first lap only Seb was able work his way back into the front, while Hambone and Stroll was playing Pattycakes in the back of the pack.
I vote Kvyat and Verstappen. I know that Danny is not there any more, but he is so bad he needs to be on this list. And Max is a moving accident.
