Thank you much ... I have missed this info in the book.
It is really a fenomenal work by Ryan.

During restoration we did not find any trace of hole on the passenger side .... that we could identify in the metal.

My engine is currently being rebuilt. It is the ideal opportunity to get the engine bay resprayed in the correct colour. It is currently black and the car gold so I have no reference to the original colour except the colour code. Unfortunately, the paint shop has 3 different shades for the same code...anyone else experience this? I mixed all 3 and will pick the best looking shade...but I found this rather strange.

    Almost there with #148

Sorry for the bad quality images.

Should be completed in the next couple of weeks.

    The "Jubi" interior looks good.

Some interesting statistics about the PTS 1975.

Only 20 PTS were made, out of which 6 were for the factory (prototypes and expo cars).

Out of the 14 PTS customer cars, 11 were for german customers.

Put of the 3 PTS cars not for Germany, two were delivered to Switzerland.

One of the two was for Herr von Karayan ... the other is my current car.

Here (US) we spell Herbert's last name Karajan... with a 'J'.

Always interested in different spellings, grammar, etc. from different areas.

    Beautiful.

Sorry, I just made a stupid spelling mistacke.

You are obviously correct and the spelling is "Karajan".

Anyhow, in 1975 you needed to be a prominent customer for Porsche to manufacture a 930 in PTS for you ... only two out of the 24 swiss customers were awarded such an onor and Mr. Karajan was one of the two, the other was the original owner of my car: still not identified.

Correct this car was listed in essen at 365.000€ = $ 435.000 and it said to be sold not far from asking price to a collector in Denmark ( my shot is around $400.000 Mark ), with that color combination which is not the “best” and easiest to sell IMO, I don’t think market is soft on the 75 cars. From what I have seen very few good original 75’s has been in the market lately.

Finding a numbers match and good 75 930 is not an easy job in this market, just saying so!

Warn alert this car is extremely misrepresented, saw this in person in 2016 non match engine severe damage to passenger side torpedo A pilar and body structure into dashboard, massively lack of detail and correct parts

There is no way coys have seen this before doing the description and unserious to post with just 3 photos

Interesting to see it anyone drags it home

Interesting car, always curious on how early turbos do on Bat. Per the Bible those ‘75 style door pockets are factory (z-code). I think they look horrible with the sample interior. Also a Blaupunkt Berlin was optioned which I’ve seen on this car in the past. Passenger side mirror was later added as it’s not shown as an option (M261). Eleven (11) 930s were imported in 266 ice green. A few issues other than the tires: snorkels washers incorrectly mounted, and the super scoops, EGR/thermal reactors, original brakes all missing. Very nice car.

Should be all black. Perhaps the trunk was repainted? It looks like the gas tank has also been painted.

Agree, not a big deal but why not mount Pirelli CN36s before a sale? The speedometer is likely off at least 5-10 MPH with those tires mounted.
