I'm still looking for a pic, the 1970 Geneva Motor Show.
There was a 512 S Berlinetta, and on the last day of the Salon, a bottle of Champagne was placed on the pavilion of the car. Ferrari had just won the 12h Sebring.
I did not have any film in my kodak

Please excuse a slight hijack of this thread, but can someone tell me what is the Torino exhibition building in the late 50s/60s pics? Does it still exist? Thanks in advance.

There are numerous photos of this event on the web - and others posted here by members over the years. There's also a British Pathe film online. Is there something in particular that you're looking for?

I am looking for photos of my 330 GTS which was featured at both events. To date I have only found a few partial photos but not the whole car. Gary Kohs who produced the Sports Car Spectacular thought he had some photos. He stopped responding to my emails a while back and I stopped bothering him as I didn't want to become a nuisance. I watched all the Pathe films I could find with no luck spotting my car. Any help would be appreciated. I have owned the car over 30 years and I am trying to wrap up a few loose ends documenting its history. The car had wires but mag wheel knock-offs when I bought in 1987. I am hoping to find photos that show which wheels it had when shown. Interior photos would also be wonderful. Thanks very much.

This is New York, 1962. Car in foreground is s/n 3309SA. Looks like a SWB Berlinetta at the back - anyone know the ID?

interesting that carpet color is listed on build sheet.
i think the factory stopped specifying carpet color at some point.

    Again and again and again:
All this information is NOT on the factory build sheets.
Build sheets (a.k.a. Foglio di Montaggio) show the technical side only.
Such information can only be found on additional internal (sales and/or equipment) documents.
It has nothing to do with the build sheets.

i was using “build sheets” as a generic term encompassing all internal ducuments. purpose of the post was surprise that ferrari listed carpet color as i heard from car interiors in NL that carpet color not usually specified(re daytonas at least).

If you want to know a carpet color you must have copy of the factory delivery note (Rimesso) and/or the factory invoice. Or the order sheet. Or the sales sheet. This is where such detailed information is listed.

Hi there, my first post on the forum.:) Does anyone have any photos of the 1961 London Motor show? I am particularly looking for a photo of the front of the white GTE.

    Thanks Dave

    Hi Dave,

Welcome to the forum. Can you tell us more about why you're after this particular image? Here's why: if you're the new owner and you're looking to research its history because it really interests you, or the car used to be in your family and you're trying to track it down, etc etc... then the folk here will usually bend over backwards to help. However, if you are - for example - a dealer who's got the car and are simply trying to fatten up the history to make it as attractive as possible to a buyer, then people are less likely to be so instantly obliging.

That said, there are plenty of dealers/brokers on here who do use this forum for tracking down such information (including me in my previous job), but it's usually a two-way street with contributions made and contributions received.

Essentially what I'm saying is: if people don't have this image to-hand or on file, then it's in your best interests to make them want to go away and help you by looking through old collections and books.

    Thanks Ed,

I recently acquired this car #2677 and there seems to be some discrepancies for the car. I know for sure that it was in the 1961 London Auto Show. Some documentation shows that this was a Series 2 prototype and others say it is not a prototype . It does have the same series 3 look as #2711. The car is in need of a full restoration so I am looking to see is the front end is original or needs to be replaced.

    Thanks

    Dave
