Every reciprocity website out there says you don't carry in Florida where alcohol is the main business--bars, clubs, etc.

Large scale school massacres occur in the US because of easy access to guns. They don't occur here because Ma and Pa don't keep a rifle in the wardrobe

I agree! But so far, none of these mass murders have been spontaneous. They've all been preplanned--weeks, even months in advance.

Spontaneous shootings, stabbings, beatings, etc, do occur. The shootings are usually committed by people who aren't in legal possession of the gun, and who have histories of violence. Rapes are rarely committed by normal guys who just snap and pull a knife on some chick.

 

In the 60s and 70s, homemade "zip" guns were very common in certain cities.
