    Derek & The Dominoes - Layla

    Odd bit of trivia - the piano coda played so beautifully by drummer Jim Gordon (with Duane Allman on slide guitar), was actually written by then girlfriend Rita Coolidge. Coolidge broke up with Gordon after he gave her a black eye. Gordon later hacked his mother to death with a butcher knife, and is currently serving a life sentence in a mental hospital. The duality of man, sir!

    Can't like this! ;) My room mate in college incessantly listened to his Steely Dan mix tape. It may have not been so bad if he didn't blather on incessantly while listening to it about something or the other...T

    Funny enough my wife and I used to go see them every weekend at the Green Valley here in Henderson. Used to be free back then! Now we see them about once a year and have to pay good money for a table and tickets etc. Guess they are moving up in the world!

    I unfortunately listened to one of the employees fart all day. Seems he had some bad Mexican food then ate week old rhubarb pie. I swear the bastard does this on purpose. I've seen him eat moldy bread and cheese and barely cooked meat....yuck. Shocking he doesn't get sick or have diarrhea. Probably the best worker I've ever had.
