That is a very sweet convertible!
Being Ferrari. Quirky, irrational and inscrutable are in their genes. Being in the area I hope to lay eyes on it at some point.
I just purchased a black testarossa convertible that I believe to be a Straman (#8543). Does anyone know of a registry that I can check for this car? Thnx.

There is a convertible Testarossa for sale in Canada. Not a Straman but looks nice. It's on ebay now. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Ferrari-Testarossa-Convertible-Spider-Cabriolet-/161995253834?hash=item25b7ab684a:g:XTMAAOSwLVZV57t1&vxp=mtr
Hi Michael, My name is Wyatt Loweth, and I am actually the current owner of Testarossa spyder. I was wondering if you had any info about the car. I stumbled apon this post and had to make an account to reach out to you. I purchased the car from Autosports Design a couple years back. I currently have the car in Miami, and bring it up for the summers in Bridge Hampton. Thanks Wyatt Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Hey Wyatt, I knew this car would re surface sooner or later. oh my god what a beautiful car that is, was for me. I heard from Tom that it sold to someone in Fla. He is some character... I live out east in summer as well! Congrats, that is one rare car. Has its faults but the positives far outweigh them. What can I add?
Hey Michael, The car has been great, I actually own a 1991 Testarossa coupe as well and it is fun to look at the two next to each other. Last year I got a Capristo exhaust for the 91 and it makes the flat 12 sound amazing. I was just wondering if there was anyway to tie the car back to the Blackhawk, I know Tom mentioned that the car was owned by the founder Ken Behring. Do you know whether it was ever on display there? Below I included a photo of the day I took delivery of the Spyder as well my 91. Thanks Wyatt. Hi, Wyatt... Can you tell me the serial number of your '91 Testarossa? Also, congratulations on your acquisition of the Testarossa Spyder - it's beautiful. Indeed it was with Blackhawk. In August, 1994, it was seen at the Blackhawk Collection in Danville, CA. And then, a year later, it was for sale through Blackhawk - but it was erroneously advertised as red with tan interior, instead of red with black leather. I actually saw this car myself, 05 December 2010, at the seventh annual Motor4Toys event in Woodland Hills, CA. It was red with black leather, red leather seat centers, black carpets, black mats embroidered with red Ferrari lettering, vinyl shields on the doors, there was a yellowish golden jaundiced prancing horse adorning the rear, the odometer appeared to read 9,174, and the car was wearing standard CA plates.
Scott, any chance you saved the pictures from that eBay listing? I have conflicting information about this car - it's been identified as a Spyder since the '80s, but I have it on very good authority, as of 2013, that it's not a cut car, and that it's still a coupe.
Hi... Did you mean 58543? Black with black leather, single high mirror, chrome five-spoke aftermarket wheels, 20K+ miles, and last seen in Nebraska three years ago?
