Anything with 12 cylinders will probably be valuable as engines get smaller and more efficient......

A model with a high degree of technology, aesthetics, drivability, and wow factor plus some characteristics that make it special like “last naturally aspirated V8, most powerful NA V8”. On top of that ensure it is spec’d to your desire. Here is mine.

Actually my 1969 Fiat 500 (daily driver) is written into my will, so I don't plan to part with it until I'm departing!
The 308 I hope I have a few more years with, but there will come a day when I physically can't manage it and I also don't ever want to put it into storage again so once I'm properly retired and spending half my time in Italy, it will be time to part with her... sadly.

I'm sixty, so I like a blend of old and new tech. I can't go back to carbs, don't want to be without ABS, appreciate airbags, like power assist for wide front tires, but need a manual.

My 360 stick is perfect for me, so I'm keeping it. Need a V12 to go with it. I'd like a manual 612 but they are already out of sight price wise. Might convert and F1/a to manual.

FF's are cheap now, but I'm jut not in love with them. Too funky. Probably ought to drive one.

My wife calls me a "Serial Car Hoarder". So, I will never let the Mondial go.

However, to add to it, someday when retirement gets here, there will be a white Testarossa sitting next to it.

That's a cool car. However, I have a couple of problems with a purchase right now.

    1. I'm in a rental home, waiting for construction to complete on my new house (Sept/Oct timeframe)
    2. I'm thinking more of an 86 or 87 TR

For shear real world fun, perhaps a Lancia Delta Integrale EVO 1. Or a Stratos. Or a 206 Dino. In a modern car, I like the Alfa Disco Volante There's only one these days that I could comfortably afford but could never get it registered in California. Of all...the 206 Dino.

I followed Rally back in the 70's and 80's and was a huge fan of the Stratos. Also the Dino, but the 246. So I bought an X1/9, because it was as close as I could get. :)

X1/9 are fantastic little cars (baby 308 in many ways). I may well go back to one when the 308 gets too much for me...

458 Spider ticks all my boxes. Can’t imagine life without her.

    Plenty fast.
Sounds great. Disconnected the vacuum lines so the baffles stay open all the time.
    Looks great. Rosso Corsa/ beige.
No options l need or want. Pretty fully loaded.
Very reliable. 29k smiles. Drive every day except in winter.

Same here with my Italia. May add a 812 Superfast in the future, to have the last Ferrari naturally-aspirated V8 and V12. My two keepers for life, can't see life without them or wanting anything else past that. My automotive nirvana.

    Kind regards,

    Nuno.

This, I found a car that every time I fire it up a big ole smile crosses my face and doesn't leave till I get back to the garage. I stare at it in the garage and a big smile crosses my face. I will talk about it to anyone that will listen. Now that's a keeper no matter what make, model or cost of a car.

Question, you've obviously driven it regularly, thats awesome, I drive my 575 and SLR daily but bc I walk to work and Miami Beach being so small I have them insured for 2500 miles a year and I don't even get close. That is give or take $1000/year to insure the 575 and $1800/year for the SLR, with you driving so much, I assume you have it just insured regularly with no limits at state farm/all state and not a classic car policy. What does something like that cost for a car that price if you dont mind me asking, just curious
