Nothing to do with Grid girls mate. This picture was done a week before the Monaco GP at a demo at Zandvoort, where Max, Ric and Coulthard attended.

just fans bringing some signs for Ric. Zandvoort has held F1 demo's for a long time (years ago it was called the Marlboro racing days, where I saw Michael Schumacher in his F2001), past few years they just had Max there but now with Ric and DC. Think the sings are just some of his team radios

It looks like they practiced it a few times. Ricci, Max and who was the 3rd driver?

    Neither do I.

He is one of the most pleasant characters in F1, IMO.

I also think he deals very well with the ups and downs.

I realize my opinion is unpopular. I understand you can't say anything bad about Ric. I get it and I've certainly taken my lumps over the past couple years on some of my posts. I'm not saying the team shouldn't celebrate. If you read my post, I pretty much said it was a nice win for Ric and the team and that it's certainly a gold star to win at Monaco no matter how it comes. My only point is that whenever he does anything, it's blown so far out of proportion. Comparing this win to Schumacher? C'mon now. That's a bit much... no... a lot much Comparing him to piloting the Apollo 13... really? I mean the rhetoric just goes out the window. It's a good win. Absolutely. But in no way was it some epic race that will be remembered for anything other than who the winner of Monaco was in 2018.

It always amazes me how many humorless people there are on this webforum.

The original post was a joke. We were meant to laugh.

I agree to a point but did Dan compare his win to MS ?

Hardly, he had a problem , asked what he could do in a controlled tone and got on with what he could do.

It's the BS media blowing it up to try and make Monaco relevant and exciting

I do think Dan could have helped get Apollo 13 back home though :p

    If he was born :D
