I ordered a Portofino. I checked with my dealer and he said it cannot he ordered without it or removed. I suspect there is a hole under it for wiring. Hopefully, I will get used to it. It’s the XM antenna.
I was the one inquiring. It looks stunning for sure. Makes things much easier when you can see it together. Thanks! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Hey Raghu, You mentioned you just ordered the Portofino. Would you be willing to share your build spec with us? I'm interested in the pricing for the new model as well as if dealers are discounting it at all yet... Thanks!
I will be removing that lump as well as the front fender lights and having the body shop that I use fill and paint. I have been doing this to my cars for almost forty years.
I agree that it ruins the lines of the deck lid, but won't that bump you up against some warranty issues?
Well,I guess that I won't be able to complain about poor satellite radio reception. Seriously though,it would be like putting in race seats or an expensive audio system. Legally things like that don't affect the warranty on the engine, trans, brakes, etc.
I guess I am an easy person. Yeah, I agree it is not beautiful, but for me, it just is not a big deal overall. It is still a beautiful car. And personally, I like Sat Radio. Sent from my iPad using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Anyone got pics of the PF in Rosso Portofino with forged diamond cut wheels? Keen to see that! Will prob get it with cuoio interior
I love this pic. You can really see the lines and the craftsmanship of this car. Such beautiful sheet metal.
I had to post this picture... Because it reminded me of one of my favorite "Ferrari" pictures of all time. Yes, I know this car has an asterisk next to it, but it's still beautiful... Image Unavailable, Please Login
I get why people want to see the well designed shape of the Portofino in color. But I love the way Black cuts a silhouette...
No discounts for me, although they did agree to transport it to my home which is 3 hours from the dealership. I wanted to drive it home but my wife did’nt agree. Mine is Rosso Portofino with Nero interior, carbon fiber rear and side air vents, carbon steering wheel, aluminum calipers and tach, all other options except passenger display which I did not want. When I ordered their was no price list. The options are high mark up and add massively to the price, but will make it a lot more enjoyable to own and drive.
Believe it or not, as much as I like Ferrari in Black, I don't go for the murdered out look. As an Army veteran and Steelers fan, I love the Black/gold combination. So I'd go with gold shields, calipers, and center caps. And a light interior, probably Sabbia. And I'd never smoke the lights. if anything, I'd have some custom clear ones made by Klearz.
CarGASM! Man this thing is luscious in Black. And the drone shots of it are amazing. It really does work as well as a coupe as it does a roadster. I repeat my assertion that this will NEVER be a collector's car: they made it too good. They could make these things in Camaro numbers and still sell every last one.
