Guys, Do you want to post what color you ordered? So far silver is the most ordered color. I got some orders for Grigio Corsa. Mine are gold. None for black yet. On another note: A new question - which I didn't address yet - came up today. Can 225/35ZR19 be used on the 8" front wheel? Yes, it can. Depending on brand tire tread width of that size is between 8.1" and 8.5".
Thank you Oliver for speaking with me over the weekend. I am still only interested in the 18" size. If they become available let me know. Thank you.
I currently have the 430 wheels. Anyone interested let me know Ordered mine today.Hyper silver and or factory silver CS Wheels. 19x8 fronts and 19x10 rear 9mm offset. Going to use the tires on my 430 wheels 225/30 front and 285/35 rear Michelin pilot sports. Cant wait for them to arrive! Thanks Oliver for your hard work on this!
Can I get in on this? I don't know why but I can't PM you. I think your spec is good and I'd like the factory Silver. Please PM me.
So what tires would we put on these wheels? Also, what do they weigh? If the end tire+wheel combination weighs less than the stock starfish +tire combination, then in addition to more grip and better styling, there will be slightly more torque. I’m not sure this really matters for cars as old as ours, but it would be fun to know the performance impact. Any physicists around?
Hey Sanfran, any chance you could take some video of the wheels being made? I’d love to see the process.
Production of the initial orders is scheduled to complete before the end of the month. Two sets are still available. PM me if you want a set.
Me too! I wish I could jump on a set of these now, but unfortunately I need to put the funds towards a belt service. Is production extremely limited or will they still be able to manufactured a few months from now?
I have a 99 360. I'd like a set provided i will not have TCS / ABS issues I thought i recall that being an issue on early 360's does anyone have any info on that. If there are no issues then i am in for sure
I don't know the specifics off the 1999 model year. As long as a 1999 360 can handle the stock wheels/tires from an F430 it will be OK. These wheels will work with the stock 225 and 285. Based on tirerack.com info on Pirelli tires the front 235/35/19 is actually better matched in diameter than the stock 225 when compared to stock 360 front tires. I was planning on 235 and 295 for my new wheels. Specs for Selected Tire This front/rear set fits your 1999 Ferrari 360 Modena. SIZE UTQG MAX. LOAD MAX.
