What is the correct ECU for a US 85 QV? What should I pay and where can I get? Looking thru older threads, sounds like the solution to a startup issue...where the car runs like **** for 2 - 5 minutes then runs perfectly.

How have you determined it's an ecu issue?

What items have you checked? Have you checked cold rest pressure? Have you checked to be sure you are not starting or running on one bank of cylinders? Have you made sure the relays, fuses, and (most importantly) the connections at the fuse panel are in good operating condition?

Actually planning on doing several things which include fuel filter, distributed caps, plugs and wires, etc. But, based on what I have read, the symptoms point to the ECU relay. Both exhausts seem to be putting out same air...and it runs and pulls strong once warmed. But open to checking other things in process. Also plan to get Birdman fuse block.

Do you mean "ECU" or "ECU Relay" as in the thread title? (And by "ECU Relay" please confirm/deny if you mean the Protection Relay)

Does your Frequency Valve "vibrate/buzz" when the engine is running?
