Well if you own a car, you can do what you want with it at the end of that day.

But god that is ugly and stupid.

Destroys the handling and performance of the car, so all you are left with are the looks, and that's also been destroyed as far as I'm concerned. And yeah I get it... beauty is in the eye of the beholder and all that; but lets face it nobody is going to throw a Monsters girl out of bed for ***ting, but you would somebody else, so there is a baseline of beauty here and I'd suggest that pininfarina is one of them!

Still, if they want to spend their money that way...crack on!

WOW brings back memories from long long ago

ray cook had a shop next to smokey yunick. He did that to the old steel wheels back in the day and built stock car rims
Had him do some 12 inch chevy ss rims tucked under a 69 camaro in 1975

OK back to 20??? whatever it is

    :)

Sorry Ernie, but that is terrible. It looks like it was fitted with gawdy wheels and then dropped from a great height to break the suspension.

    All the best,
    Andrew.

If those wheels were 18s they’d look great, but at that diameter they just look stupid.

Anyone know of any companies in the US that convert alloy wheels to modular?

In the 3rd photo, the chunky girl looks like her weight is crushing that poor 348. Sorry, I have no filter.

I dunno. Speaking as someone who likes them leaner than most guys do, when you consider the skeezy wanna-be-stripper trash often seen around ricemobiles (and no small number of Ferraris), it's kinda nice to see a normal looking girl pictured with the car. At least you wouldn't have to worry about her getting strawberry scented body oil and glitter all over the interior. ;)

    To each his own.

I think it's the bee's knees. :D It's modified but still "original". The larger 3 piece wheel using the stock wheel is brilliant. The stock wheels are THE ugliest design on the 348. But what these guys did REALLY modernizes the wheels and greatly improves the looks. I know people don't like the 20" wheels but even Ferrari has gone to larger wheels. The 488 GTB runs "20 inch dubs up front and in the rear, same for the 812, the GTC Lusso, Portofino, and even the LaFerrari. Though the LaFerrari uses "19s up front and "20s in the rear.

My vote is with the "20s. They look great are are Ferrari "approved". :p

They don’t hold a candle to the 412 wheels, the Mondial TRX wheels, the 512M wheels or the 328 ABS wheels for sure ugliness.

A 458 is ginormous compared to a 348 so of course 20" wheels seem more appropriate. They look ludicrous on a small car like a 348.

Ferrari went to larger cars, too. There's the difference.

I don't know what'd I'd go to that would look right, IMO... the stock wheels have grown on me, i'd like 18s, but have no idea what looks as good.

Right but because the cars are subtantially bigger. Fiat puts 17” wheels on the 500 Abarth, that doesn’t mean they’d look good on an X1/9.

People don't like the wing on my car and I could care less what they think...................I sure these folks are the same way. Each person can do what ever they want to fit their lives or their goals. More power to them.
