If anyone is interested, here you can see the measurements of the 360 sport seats, small vs medium vs large. They should be the same size as CS seats.

Those seats are very pretty. But the price? That seems a bit far fetched

There are a few on Ebay asking high 1's low 2's. I don't think they're all "storied" either.

Drive the CS today for the first time in a couple of weeks. God, the interior smells good. Wish I could get that in a spray of some kind.

    Sensational!
This is great, after having the CS prices stagnating a little, the last couple of years, this, the silver and now the red at Gooding, are first signs of a new "wave'?
BTW, does somebody know what the highest price is, ever paid for a Challenge Stradale?

Haven’t tracked this market for awhile, might be interested in a CS with certain specs (rosso shade, factory stripe, 15k miles or less, but not ultra low miles, alcantara interior, has to have radio) what would value for such CS nowadays?

Mine sounds like it meets your desired spec. I picked it up 3 months ago for $190k fysa. Was told by the brokering dealer that I got it for an amazing price.

Got some good time in my CS this week. Fall in love again every time I get behind the wheel. Faster cars out there, but there is something truly special about the CS. The sound, handling, connection to the road, looks and just the right amount of power to be able to enjoy on the street at legal speeds. It's just sublime and seems to get better with each passing year. Still under 12K miles. I need to drive her more!!

I did an simple compound interest calculation on the cost of my CS. $205k new in 2004 plus $18k sales tax (NY) = $223k. At compound interest of 3% (minimal), I ‘d need $337k today, 14 years later, to break even on the investment. That’s not a great use of capital.

What if you had picked an ultra low mile one up for 130k in 09 - how wld u feel today?

How many stocks do you own that you bought on IPO?

Depends how many miles you drove it. If you actually drove the car and enjoyed it than it was an excellent use of capital. Something owning stocks can't provide. If you parked it and never drove it well then yes that would be a terrible use of capital. No enjoyment other than looking at it (poster or model presumably would offer the same) assuming it was not locked in a garage under a cover.

What if I bought a winning mega millions lottery ticket? What if I bought Amazon in 1997? What if I bought a 250 GTO in 1970? What’s your point? I’m describing my personal scenario.

I paid $120K for my 9K mile CS in October 2010. Now it has 19,500 miles. I feel it should be more. I drive it all the time.

If someone put the 130k in pretty much anything in 2009 (stocks, real estate, etc) they would be up way more than buying a CS. Sp500 has tripled since then (so would be at 390k), and thrown off dividends the whole time too (and not required major services or insurance or tires or..)

But you can’t drive a stock portfolio.

Average fed funds rate over the last 14 years is 1.36% so with that logic you would need $270k today.

If you bought it new and have had it for 14 years I would think you must be more of an enthusiast vs investor ;) But form your profile it looks like you sold it
