    I purchased this great car from John Delamater in Indianapolis. He worked in conjunction with Kirk F. White located out East. John was very active in forming the Ferrari Club and I know he kept records of each transaction. We spoke several times over the years but he passed about 5 years ago. I'm hoping that someone has access to John Delamater's data base.

    I was driving my 1965 330 GT 2 plus 2 from Ohio to Minnesota when it burned a couple pistons outside of Indianapolis. I found John and traded in the 330 for the 1957 Red TDF. I don't think it had ever been registered in the U.S. I then drove it Minnesota and registered it there. A fire destroyed the files and photos of all my cars so I can't recall the serial number. After enjoying the TDF for a few years I traded with one of John's customers for a 1967 Iso Griffo. Would appreciated any info on that car as well.

    If anyone out there has any ideas as to how to find the serial number or info where the TDF is located I would certainly appreciate a phone call.... Robert T 612-812-0000 cell..... THANKS....

    Robert what years did you own it, also do you remember any specific details(roll bar, covered headlights, fender vents) about the car?

    Here are 3 possibilities that seem to fit the timeline and John Delameter ownership criteria;
    0689GT (no louvers on B-pillar)
    0703GT (14 louvers on B-pillar)
    1161GT (1 louver on B-pillar)

    The OP, Robert T, never checked in again after his post. Or does anyone know if he found his TdF?
