Help needed with iPad/won't play YouTube videos

    I have an older iPad, about three years old. For some reason I am suddenly unable to view YouTube videos. This has really affected my ability to enjoy FChat to the max! :rolleyes: The only things I have done recently that may or may not have caused this was to sign on to the cloud and purchase extra storage capacity from Apple. Yes, I've checked the web for solutions, but frankly I trust the advice I might get here much more.

    I'm pretty clueless with technology, so please speak slowly and use small words:D.

    If it is a recent issue mine is doing the same thing and I haven't changed anything in the past few weeks. I don't have it sitting here but I think the issue is just the youtube links on this site will not click and start like they will on my surface pro.

    Mine won't start videos on any site, not just FChat.

    Strange. As far as I know mine still has no problem playing ewe-t00b videos from links on this site. But it's running a couple of generation's old version of iOS since I refuse to Beta test updates for Apple. I think there's been an iOS update in the last few days-- any chance you applied it when prompted?
