FYI - got the pieces for the 5270 wrong, it was the 1518 that was 281 pieces, which is the lineage of 5270. Although for purist the 5270 is all in-house PP movement hence more coveted.

This little chap is proudly standing guard over my Omega Speedmaster TV Dial.

He fell out of his nest and crashed on my back yard last Sunday. As I found him he was still completely featherless (save for the trailing edge of the wings), cold, hungry and too exhausted to even chirp. After a tough week of feeding him and learning how to father sparrows, he finally seems to enjoy good health and a steady growth.

Up next in a week or so are flight lessons… Will wear my Skywalker X-33 for the occasion.

I don't recall seeing any ladies post here before and just wondering if we have any female watch fans?
My S.O. is seriously into watches but not the smaller "Ladies" sizes. Likes the look of the more "interesting" sizes as she puts it. She has a few that make me jealous Image Unavailable, Please Login !

Funny you mention this - after a recent surgery while "coming to" ; first thing I saw was my incredible wife and she had a crazy cool over sized watch on (I was still highly medded) - turns out it was my SS Daytona - my wallet, wedding ring, copper bracelet and watch are the last thing I take off and give to her for safe keeping before getting gassed.:p

I love when people wear what I would term as "every day Joe" watches.

So meant to jump on this post but forgot - Jacey, I'm sure you know just how unlikely survival of any wild animal in captivity - especially a bird - is? Add that the bird is injured and the probability of survival is like zero.

Are you an ornithologist or trained some how in the field?
